Warmer Weather

       It was sooooo beautiful outside today!! While walking, i started to sweat, with two feet of snow too!! Crazy huh? Well yeah, it has been bitterly cold here lately, but today was nice, i only wore a light jacket!!         And today in Humanity in the Food Web, my favorite class i have ever taken, we started to talk about our "presentations" for April. Yes it is far away, but we needed to start. I am excited, but not excited at the same time. I know i sound crazy, but i really wished it were a longer presentation. We are supposed to prepare a 3 minute presentation on a topic in Agriculture we have kind of covered in class. I am doing mine on how today farmers children aren't coming back to the farm, they are going to college. Which is a good thing, and also a bad thing.

     In todays world, the average age of a farmer is i think like 57 and rising every single year. So who is going to feed us in 20 years??? A bunch of 90 year old farmers?? And this is how i get myself going. I have such a passion, and so much to say, that sometimes i stick my foot in my mouth... But yeah, i don't know how on earth i am going to make this 3 minutes! I could fill up 3 hours easily, but i guess i must go with the rubric. That class is the reason i am really loving college right now.
   That class is all about looking at what is happening in todays world with our food. Where is it coming from? Where is it going? and what is happening in todays world.. It is such an amazing class! Every single day i learn something amazingly interesting, that i just want to tell everyone i know about it. And sometimes I do, and my friends go.."Really?" hahah and i just laugh. I guess I am just crazy or something..
